We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils. We recognise that anyone who comes into contact with children has a duty to safeguard and promote child welfare.
We ensure that all appropriate measures are applied in relation to anyone who works in the school who is likely to be perceived by the children as a safe and trustworthy adult. All members of staff therefore are required to have an enhanced DBS.
The school shares a purpose with parents to educate, keep children safe from harm and have their welfare promoted. We are committed to working with parents positively, openly and honestly. We always encourage parents to discuss any concerns they may have with the school as soon as possible.
The school has identified Charlotte Oxley as the Senior Designated Officer with responsibility for child protection. The school has additionally identified all teachers are responsible for safeguarding students. This is to ensure the safety and welfare of our students remains paramount.
It is paramount to the school that all students are supported by Ecco students and their parents.

*If we feel the incident was severe enough you will be asked to leave the school immediately.
No offensive language will be acceptable in the presence of any Ecco student. If this happens you will be asked to leave the building.
We are driven to provide a safe and happy learning environment for our students. Please support us by making it so.
