Congratulations to senior dancer Bibi who has been nominated for an IDTA Freestyle Scholarship after our last exam session back in May! Her 3rd nomination to date and so well-deserved!

It was hot, hot, hot at the Humberside Championships yesterday and the comp crew brought the fire to the dance floor!
We loved seeing how much more confident you all looked and how much you were enjoying it. Not to mention some lovely results for us.

A massive well done to our dancers Olivia and Eve for successfully auditioning to be part of the ensemble for Cinderella at Rotherham Civic Theatre this year! We love a Christmas panto! So proud.

We've just heard the super news our Performing Arts and Singing teacher Abygael has been offered a position as a Drama Teacher in a school - her dream job! Please join us in saying a big Ecco well done!

We are buzzing with how well our team of ten did in Bilborough yesterday at the World Qualifier Trophy Day! Lots of recalls, semis and finalists at a very high standard day with a double win for new crew member Laylah!

We will be back in the studio tonight working on how we can further improve on our performance for our next comp The East Riding Championship in Hull on the 11th June.

Grimsby 5 Star Championships 23/04/2023

Wow was it a long day of hard work for our 9 competitors yesterday! The standard was amazing. But our girls held their own in those insane grand prix heats and their solo and pair categories.

So many call-backs and lots of semi-finalists. At such a tough competition we will take that and push on! The finals we got we were buzzing with. Congratulations to you all.

We had the pleasure of hosting an amazing Street/Commercial workshop with the fabulous Sadie Flower today! Here she is with the Ecco girls that took part. Well done all and a big thank you Sadie!

Miranda was flying the flag solo for Ecco today at the first Rapt Street & Commercial competition of 2023 in Castleford!
She made both her finals coming 3rd in Street Solo and 4th in the Commercial Set Routine event. The standard was through the roof. A massive well done Miranda!

Some outstanding dancing from our comp crew girls yesterday in Scunthorpe. 3 close calls for card marks and lots of semi-finalists just missing out on those finals! We're back in the studio tonight working hard on our 2023 goals!

Here's to the next comp we can't wait.

Well done to senior dancer Miranda for taking part in the IDTA Theatre Dance Awards at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester today after receiving a scholarship nomination in her exam last year!

A tough competition yesterday in Nottingham at the World's Qualifier but our comp crew had plenty of fight in them! The support for eachother was really special to see too. Our small but mighty team are really pushing to up their game now and it's beginning to show. Back to the studio tonight for more hard work.
